Just got back from signing Gracie up for softball. The girls are immersed in Eragon, they are listening to it on cd for the second time. We have new dog named Sasha Rose.
She's a rescue, lab mix from MA. She's great. Tons of energy, chewing anything, making Manny the Chihuahua find his playful side. One of her favorite things is to slide on the rugs. It's like having another kid.
Danny is working with abused kids in MA. He takes them skiing through a program called May Institute. It's good for him. He hates his work. It's hard on him. I wish he would leave. I'd so much rather be poor than see him go through this. He has to make his own decisions though. If he feels like he needs to stick it out then that's what he needs to do for now.
I am still working at the preschool. It's a good job. I love the kids and the other teachers are pretty cool. It's not much money though. That's never been an issue in the past but... I can't say too much about that.
I am also teaching after school programs and the girls' school. Knitting and American Girl crafts. We don't do too much with the actual dolls because only one girl doesn't have one and it's a bummer for me. SO, we do awesome crafts that aren't for the dolls but more about the history of the different girls. I ask, "Which American Girl would've done a craft like this?" It makes it more about reading the books than about the dolls themselves.
A friend asked me to consider a position as Activities Director and a local swim club this summer but it's 5 days a week and it would tie me down to being here. I like to go places over the summer. We'll see.
